Whether you want tighter or more natural bushy brows: with brow lamination (also known as a brow lift), your eyebrows are styled upwards. By combing and styling the eyebrow hairs in the same direction, you get sleek, full brows. Because the hairs are combed upwards, you also get a beautifully open look. Brow lamination is safe and completely painless. The treatment takes 30 minutes.
How the brow lift works
Before we get started on your brows, we discuss your wishes. Do you want a sleek look or full, fluffy eyebrows? Based on this, we tweeze your eyebrows perfectly into shape. Once your brows are tweezed, it's time for the brow lamination. Using a special lotion, the eyebrow hairs are ‘set’, after which we comb the hairs upwards. This instantly makes your brows look fuller. Brow lamination is the solution for asymmetrical or unruly brows that are hard to shape. With brow lamination, you'll have little to worry about regarding the shape of your eyebrows for up to six weeks. The only thing you need to do is comb your brows into shape with an eyebrow brush. Brow gel isn't necessary.
How long brow lamination lasts
Because we work with the high-quality products from Elleebana, we can guarantee a long-lasting result of four to six weeks. After this period, you can choose to have another brow lift.
Combining a brow lift with henna brows or brow tinting
Not entirely happy with the colour of your eyebrows? You can have them tinted at the same time during a brow lamination treatment. For this we use brow tinting, where only the eyebrow hairs are tinted. We advise against henna brows during the brow lift, because this treatment also colours the skin beneath the eyebrow hairs. This creates a (too) intense result. Moreover, henna brows give a sleek look, whereas with brow lamination you often create full, bushy eyebrows instead.
Brow lamination with Elleeplex Profusion by Elleebana
For both our lash lift and brow lift we use Elleeplex Profusion by Elleebana. These high-quality products ensure a gentle, effective brow lift. The lotion hydrates, strengthens and protects the eyebrow hairs and is therefore not harmful. Elleeplex Profusion is vegan friendly and gives healthy, strong eyebrows and the most optimal result.
Before and aftercare brow lamination
Before the brow lift
- Stop tweezing two to three weeks before the treatment. The more hairs we have to work with, the better the result.
- If applicable, come to the salon wearing your eyebrow make-up. That way we can see how you normally wear your brows and tailor the result accordingly.
After the brow lift
- Avoid hot water, exercise, the sauna and sunbed for up to 48 hours.
- Do not use make-up or skincare products on your eyebrows for 48 hours.
- Keep your hands off your brows as much as possible.
- Feel free to comb the hairs into shape in the morning, but never against the direction of hair growth.
