What exactly does the MD Blemiskin Peel do?

In the Netherlands, this medical peel is mainly used for skin types that are prone to acne and seborrhoea. The formula has a keratolytic, comedolytic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effect. In other words: it works on several levels of the problem – from blockages to inflammation – and brings the skin back into balance step by step.

The peel:

What can you expect?

The peel is applied in 1 or 2 layers (depending on your skin condition), with 5 minutes of rest between the layers. During the treatment you may experience a tingling sensation. This is normal and shows that the active ingredients are doing their work.

Light flaking or dryness after the treatment is possible and is part of the recovery process.
