The solution: Mesopeel MD Azelan RX
This medical peel has been specially developed for sensitive skin with diffuse redness, couperose or rosacea. The unique combination of ingredients is anti-inflammatory, soothes the skin and even strengthens the weak capillaries. This makes the skin less vulnerable, softens it and makes it feel more comfortable — without the typical side effects of heavier peels.
What does this treatment do?

How does it work?
The peel consists of powerful yet skin-friendly ingredients:
- Azelaic acid (18%): Anti-inflammatory, soothing and reduces redness.
- Salicylic acid (15%): Cleanses pores, mildly exfoliating and anti-inflammatory.
- Lactic acid (5%): Hydrates and improves the skin structure.
- Retinal: Stimulates skin renewal without irritation.
During the treatment, a maximum of two layers are applied, depending on what your skin can handle. There is a five-minute pause between the layers. Afterwards the skin is neutralised with a soothing spray.
Advice & sessions
For the best result we recommend 4 to 5 treatments, with 15 days between each session. After that, maintenance every 6 months is ideal to keep the skin calm and strong.
Contra-indications
This peel is not suitable in the case of:
- Active infections or wounds on the treated area
- Severe active eczema or psoriasis
- Allergy to one of the ingredients
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding (in consultation)
