Remove troublesome pigment spots, effectively and locally

Do you have a pigment spot under your eyes, on your upper lip, cheeks or forehead that just won't go away – even after all sorts of creams or treatments? Then it's time for a targeted, medical approach. The Mesopeel MD Melanoplus Touch is specially developed to treat stubborn pigment spots locally and effectively. Not a standard peel, but a professional touch-up with visible results.

What is the MD Melanoplus Touch?

The MD Melanoplus Touch is a medically certified peeling treatment aimed at specifically targeting stubborn hyperpigmentation. This formula is developed exclusively for professional medical use and contains a powerful combination of clinically proven ingredients such as:

  • TCA (trichloroacetic acid)
Stimulates deep exfoliation and skin renewal, effective for discolouration and sun damage.
  • Tranexamic acid
Reduces inflammatory processes that cause pigment formation and inhibits melanin production.
  • Kojic acid
Known for its skin-brightening action; blocks pigment formation at a cellular level.
  • Azelaic acid
Has an anti-inflammatory and pigment-correcting effect, also suitable for melasma and acne-prone skin.

The treatment is developed for local use and is applied specifically to areas where hyperpigmentation is most visible, such as the cheekbones, upper lip, forehead or hands.

Who is this treatment suitable for?

The MD Melanoplus Touch is specially developed for people with localised pigment problems. Think of:

  • Dark spots after pimples or wounds
    (Focal post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation)
These often appear after acne or damage to the skin, especially in darker skin tones.
  • Melasma or pregnancy mask
Blotchy discolouration on the forehead, cheeks or upper lip — often hormonal or sun-related.
  • Mild age spots or sun damage
Persistent spots caused by prolonged sun exposure, usually on the hands, face or dƩcolletage.
  • Discoloured scars or residual discolouration
Dark spots left behind after skin problems or minor procedures.

Do you have one or a few pigment spots that bother you, or do you notice that your skin is no longer even in some places? Then this peel is a smart, safe way to reduce excess melanin and regulate the production of new pigment.

Ideally combined with a full depigmentation treatment, such as Melanostop Tranex or Neogen Nitrogen Plasma, to locally tackle stubborn residual spots and enhance the results of your pigmentation programme.

Please note: this treatment is intended for local applications and is always preceded by a skin analysis to determine whether your skin is suitable.

Why choose the Medical version?

The MD version of the Melanoplus Touch is not a standard cosmetic peel. This is a medical treatment protocol, carried out only by certified skin professionals with knowledge of skin diagnostics, pigment mechanisms and post-treatment care.

What you can expect:

  • Targeted pigment reduction
  • Tailored guidance
  • Personal treatment plan and home-care advice
  • Less chance of rebound pigmentation thanks to correct aftercare
  • Works perfectly as a touch-up between pigment courses

How does the treatment work?

  1. Preparation
The skin is thoroughly cleansed and prepared with a mild degreaser.
  2. Application
The peel is applied locally to the pigment spot(s). You may feel a tingling or warm sensation — that is normal.
  3. Neutralisation and aftercare
After the exposure time, the peel is neutralised and we apply soothing products. You will be given advice for home use (SPF, repair cream, pigment inhibitors).

Result & recovery

Most people notice light flaking or peeling within a few days. After about 5 to 10 days the skin is visibly calmer, more even and brighter. For optimal results we recommend:

  • A course of 1-5 treatments with 15-day intervals
  • Maintenance every 6 months if needed
  • Sun protection and pigment-suppressing home products
  • Follow-up treatments combined with, for example, a depigmenting cream or LED therapy

Is this treatment safe?

Yes. When used correctly by a medical skin professional, the MD Melanoplus Touch is safe and effective. However, a proper intake and skin analysis are essential. During the intake we assess your skin type, pigment type and sensitivity.

Contraindications (when we do not treat):
This peel is not suitable in the case of:

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Active skin infections, eczema or cold sores in the treatment area
  • Use of isotretinoin (Roaccutane) or other intensive medication (in the last 6 months)
  • Extremely sensitive or damaged skin
  • Excessive sun exposure or a planned sun holiday within 2 weeks
  • Allergy to one of the active ingredients (such as TCA or acids)

Not sure whether this treatment is suitable for your skin? We're happy to think along with you.
