What is the MD Melanostop Tranex Peeling?
A medical peel that works on the core of pigment problems: the production and accumulation of melanin. It tackles existing discolouration and prevents new pigment spots from forming.
This peel is suitable for:
- Melasma and hormonal discolouration
- Diffuse hyperpigmentation after inflammation (such as acne)
- Sun discolouration or photo-ageing
- A dull or yellowish glow across the face
The formula contains, among others:
- Tranexamic acid – inhibits pigment formation and calms inflammation
- 4-butylresorcinol & kojic acid – powerful inhibitors of tyrosinase (the enzyme that produces pigment)
- Salicylic acid 20% – stimulates cell renewal and helps other active ingredients penetrate deeper
- Antioxidants & acids such as shikimic acid and glutathione – protect and repair the skin
