CHRIS beauty bar cares a great deal about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services, and we handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. The effective date for the validity of these terms is 01/09/2018; with the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions lapses. Our webshop is developed with software from WooCommerce. Email and mailing lists
MailChimp
We send our email newsletters with MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically via our website you will see the ‘unsubscribe’ link. You will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that reveal whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in that context, to share information with third parties.

For our regular business email traffic we use the services of one.com. This party has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. one.com has no access to our mailbox and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.
Payment processors
Mollie
To handle (part of) the payments in our webshop, we use the platform of Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address and place of residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in that context, to share (anonymised) data with third parties. All the safeguards mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie’s services for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not retain your data longer than is permitted under the statutory periods.
Shipping and logistics
DHL
When you place an order with us, it’s our job to have your parcel delivered to you. We use the services of DHL to carry out deliveries. For this it is necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence details with DHL. DHL uses this data only for carrying out the agreement. In the event that DHL engages subcontractors, DHL also makes your data available to these parties.
Invoicing and bookkeeping
Salonized, Treatwell andWooCommerce
For keeping our records and bookkeeping we use the services of Salonized, Treatwell andWooCommerceWe share your name, address and place of residence details and details regarding your order. This data is used for administering sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored securely. Salonized, Treatwell andWooCommerceis bound to confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. Salonized, Treatwell andWooCommercedo not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.
Purpose of the data processing
General purpose of the processing
We use your data solely for the purpose of our services. That means the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you give. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time – other than at your request – we will ask for your explicit consent. Your data is not shared with third parties, other than to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality by virtue of the agreement between them and us, or an oath or legal obligation.

Data automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This data (for example your IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal data.
Cooperation with tax and criminal investigations
In certain cases, CHRIS beauty bar may be required by a legal obligation to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigation by the authorities. In such a case we are forced to share your data, but we will resist this within the possibilities the law offers us.
Retention periods
We keep your data for as long as you are a client of ours. This means we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you tell us this, we will also interpret it as a request to be forgotten. Under applicable administrative obligations, we must keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable period runs. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and to documents we produced in connection with your order.
Your rights

In principle, to prevent misuse, we send statements and copies of your data only to the email address already known to us. You will receive all statements and copies of data in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems.
You have the right at all times to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data in the wrong way.

You can submit a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send to the email address known to us a copy of all data with an overview of the processors that hold this data, stating the category under which we have stored this data.

You always have the right to have the data we process (or have processed) that relates to you or is traceable to you amended. You can submit a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation to the email address known to us that the data has been amended.
Right to restriction of processing
You always have the right to restrict the data we process (or have processed) that relates to you or is traceable to you. You can submit a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation to the email address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.
Right to data portability
You always have the right to have the data we process (or have processed) that relates to you or is traceable to you carried out by another party. You can submit a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send to the email address known to us statements or copies of all data about you that we have processed or that has been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties. In all likelihood, in such a case we will no longer be able to continue the service, because the secure linking of data files can then no longer be guaranteed.
Right to object and other rights
In certain cases you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of CHRIS beauty bar. If you object, we will immediately cease the data processing pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is justified, we will make available to you statements and/or copies of data that we process (or have processed) and then permanently cease the processing.
